Dry Flies

Dry flies have always been one of the most essential categories in the history of our beautiful fly-fishing sport. These patterns imitate the insects drifting or flying above the water’s surface – the very first bugs anglers ever used to tempt trout and grayling on fly-fishing gear.

It’s an incredibly broad family of artificial flies, and it has to cover not only the most common insect groups that fish feed on worldwide, but also those rare, unexpected species that can surprise us on the water. And if we’re not prepared for them… the fish will simply ignore everything else.
